Independent study or homework is set to support students in achieving their academeic potential. Activities set are designed to extend and reinforce learning that has been going on in the classroom. Independent study is set  regularly and the timetable is available to access below. Independent study tasks should be carefully recorded in planners and include the date on which it should be handed in.

In the left hand menu is a guide for students and parents as to what independent study is being set in each subject. These tasks can vary and wherever possible the student should check with their teacher as to what they are required to do. The Learning Centre is available at lunchtimes and after school for students to use to complete independent study tasks.
